Like other weapons on this list, the Broad Sword can be infused with magic or upgraded to be a magic weapon. Players who enjoy a good thrust attack will enjoy the Penetrating Sword, but that doesn’t make it great for the campaign. As time goes on the PS4 will eventually lose support and fade out so there’s a very low chance the remake will make it to PS4. While Dark Souls is a spiritual successor to Demon’s Souls, it doesn’t quite fill the gap that a direct connection to the original could. The plot of a sequel would have plenty of potential entry points, especially given the upcoming parallel universe we’re going to see in Elden Ring Nightreign.
